Abstract
|
|
|
Purpose:To compare recent birth statistics to opening period of Chungbuk National University Hospital.
Materials and Methods :1728 women delivered at Chungbuk National University Hospital from April 2006 to February 2010.
Results:Annual delivery exceeded 400 cases in a year, and multifetal pregnancies and elderly gravia increased markedly compring to 1991-1994. Rate of high risk pregnancy was much higher (70.9%), and that of Cesarean section increased significantly.
Conclusion:Importance and role as tertiary care center and risidency training hospital should be emphasized.
